CorpWars – Genesis’ Oct 2nd – 3rd @ Anzio
The fuel wars raged, many, many soldiers died and another unholy virus was unleashed by mistake. The nuclear weapon bought to bear as a last defence was armed and ready and the countdown begun. The Capitol Americas in their death throws disabled the bomb and all was still and silent.
That was then…..
15 years on and the situation has changed. The second virus released had a 98.7% mortality rate, population numbers were further reduced to triple figures. Illnes, famine and anarchy further reduced this number until finally a strong man emerged and united the last few groups of indigenous Briton’s and PEC/CA/Merc survivors. They have the nuclear bomb, the weapons and the will to survive. Desperate to leave and rejoin a normal society but wary of the dangers they face from a hostile world and its fear of infection. Low on medical supplies and ammunition they are a dangerous and desperate group who have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
A refuge picked up off a northern Normandy beach spoke of a viral research laboratory which they now call home. This cannot be verified as the refuge was executed and burnt within 10 minutes of being picked up to prevent a possible contamination risk.
The Pan European Corporation(PEC) forces have reinvaded and established a strong base and command post in mainland Britain. Every day they strengthen their position and have made strong inroads into securing and restoring the mining of raw materials ready for export and production. Their goal is to begin production facilities and strip the remaining country of its wealth and information.
Capitol Americas(CA) have finally realised the wealth outweighs the risk in an unhinhabited island, free from restraints they can use this as a giant rubbish bin whilst stripping it of its resources and running huge automated factories free from environmental restraints. A flotilla is on its way to establish a beachhead and explore possible areas for exploitation. Their mission has been compromised, a spy at HQ has already informed the PEC of their imminent arrival…..
A private outfit consisting mostly of West African extremists and a rag tag bunch of mercanaries have been seen operating near the northern coast of France and were last seen heading due North towards Britain. Little is known about them but they are thought to be responsible for dozens of murders, hijackings, thefts and acts of genocide. They can NOT be trusted but can be bought for money. They hold no formal allegiances except to their immediate friends.
This epic game will be held over two days at Anzio Camp in leek. Missions will include surveillance and information acquisition, capturing and interrogating prisoners, forming alliances with groups, betraying those groups and some of the fiercest fire fights over territory and capital gains that you’ll ever see. Featuring an array of cool working props, communication systems, war tables, maps and in game vehicles this event will be one not to be missed.

This corporation holds sway over the Americas and is one of the most powerful from the Antarctic to the Arctic covering what was North and South America. Their way is democratic as far as the corporation always stays in control and all its subjects are share holders. The entire system is corrupt and regular back stabbing is the only way to the top .
Pan Europe Corporation (PEC)
This is probably one of the most changed political areas. During the fuel wars the governments borrowed heavily from the the corporations and when the time came they stepped in privatising the governments then merged together. Now the area formally known as Russia to the edge of old Europe are under the strict control of the (PEC) and having privatised the military they run the land more like a fascist state.
There are other smaller regimes i.e. the African Freedom Fighters but they will be mentioned elsewhere.
